Problem Note 65580: Opening data from a SAS® Enterprise Guide® server folder collapses the view in the Servers pane

DetailsAboutRate It

In SAS Enterprise Guide 8.1, the Folders pane might unexpectedly collapse. Specifically, this problem can occur if you expand Server ► Folders and double-click a SAS data set (.sas7bdat file) to add it to the project. If you double-click to open a SAS program (.sas file) from the Folders location, the parent folder collapses. This problem does not occur in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15 or earlier.

As a workaround, use File ► Open to open a .sas file into SAS Enterprise Guide, and open a SAS data set from its assigned library (Server ► Libraries).
